Libraries launches redesigned website
Purdue University Libraries has redesigned its website with the goal of improving the user experience. The site is available at www.lib.purdue.edu.
The redesigned home page features:
* Simplified navigation menu.
* Unified library search, providing simplified search for books, articles,
archival collections and more.
* Quick links for common tasks.
* Highlights of Libraries events.
* Emphases of Libraries' strategic initiatives.
* Drop-down list for quick access to individual library sites.
The new website features consolidated and reorganized content
from various existing pages for simplified browsing and workflows. The site
also has redesigned libraries information pages for quick discovery of basic
information such as location and hours.
The redesign is a response to user feedback about the former Libraries website
and is based on user testing with members of the Purdue community.
