A time lapse video of the Purdue men's basketball team's thrilling 63-62 victory over Penn State on Wednesday night is available here. More than 10,000 photographs were taken with six different cameras throughout the course of the evening, and around 5,000 of those images were used to create the video.

The multimedia piece was created by Purdue photographer Andrew Hancock and his assistant, student Kevin Daly. The piece offers the perspective of the fans and players as well as a look at the game action.

The first camera used -- the fisheye shot looking out over the arena -- began taking one photo every 10 seconds at 5 p.m. and stopped around 11 p.m.

One camera was remotely mounted in the catwalk above the rim and fired in a burst to get action as it moved within the lane during the game. The four other cameras were either hand-held or on a tripod, and were constantly moved throughout the game to give plenty of choices of perspective.
