Removal of abandoned bicycles begins today

The Physical Facilities Grounds Department has finished placing tags on all bicycles that appear to be abandoned and/or damaged and will begin removing them from their current locations today (May 7). Those who keep a bicycle on campus should check their bike to be sure it was not marked for removal.

By providing advance notice of the upcoming bicycle removal process, the Grounds Department gives bicycle owners an opportunity to remove their own bicycles. If the bicycles are not removed by the owners, the Grounds Department will store them for 60 days prior to sending them to the Purdue Warehouse and Surplus Store.
