Business systems, including GM AIMS, unavailable this weekend during system upgrade

March 15, 2012
ITaP urges faculty and staff to take note that GM AIMS (one of the University’s grant-reporting systems) will be inaccessible from 6 p.m. Friday (March 16) through 8 a.m. Monday (March 19) while ITaP upgrades all of the SAP systems.
SAP systems include Employee Self Service, sponsored programs, financial accounting, plant maintenance, procurement, inventory management, payroll, reporting, and budgeting, as well as HR administration.
In addition to the March 16-19 downtime, the SAP system could be unavailable for up to four hours between 6 and 10 a.m. March 24 while ITaP performs other maintenance.
The upgrade will bring the University’s systems up to SAP’s current support levels and will provide the technical backbone to turn on new functionality in the future.
If faculty and staff experience system issues after accessibility has returned Monday, they may report the problem to ITaP by calling 49-44000 or sending an email to
