Hadley presentation to focus on strategies for success

January 17, 2012

The 2012 Richard A. Hadley APSAC Professional Development Series presentation on Feb. 15 will help employees learn how to develop their own potential.

Featured speaker Susan Bulkeley Butler will provide an overview of her book, "Become the CEO of You, Inc: A Pioneering Executive Shares Her Secrets for Career Success," from 9 to 11 a.m. in Stewart Center, Room 302. The event is being presented by the Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee.

Participants will learn from Butler's successful career and develop their own strategy using the Make-it-Happen Model during workshop activities. The workshop embodies Butler's motto, "Make things happen for you, don’t just let them happen to you."

A panel discussion of Purdue employees and their career paths will be part of the workshop. A copy of "Become the CEO of You, Inc: A Pioneering Executive Shares Her Secrets for Career Success" and pre-work information will be sent to participants' campus address. Participants may bring their books for the author to sign following the presentation.
