Seminars set for associate vice president for research candidates

Three candidates for the position of associate vice president for research - regulatory affairs will give seminars on Dec. 14, Jan. 11 and Jan. 18.

Candidates will speak on "Perspective of the Regulatory Landscape at a 21st Century Land Grant University." The candidates and seminar times and locations are:

* Dec. 14 (W). Mark Suckow, director of the Freimann Life Sciences Center and associate research professor of biological sciences, University of Notre Dame. 9-10 a.m. Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship, Room 121.

* Jan. 11 (W). Wesley Byerly, associate dean for research support services, Duke University School of Medicine. 9-10 a.m. Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship. Room 121.

* Jan. 18 (W). Lia Nower, associate professor and director of the Center for Gambling Studies, Rutgers University. 9-10 a.m. Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship. Room 121.
