CIE director candidates to make presentations

Three candidates for the position of director of the Center for Instructional Excellence will give presentations on Dec. 5, Dec. 7, and Dec. 8.

Candidates will speak on the vision of the future of the center and on teaching and learning on Purdue's campus. The candidates and presentation times and locations are:

* Monday (Dec. 5). Regina Frey, professor of the practice in chemistry and director of The Teaching Center at Washington University in St. Louis. 1-1:45 p.m. Stewart Center, Room 206.

* Wednesday (Dec. 7). Mary-Ann Winkelmes, campus coordinator for programs on teaching and learning and administrative provost fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. 2:30-3:15 p.m. Stewart Center, Room 206.

* Thursday (Dec. 8). Chantal Levesque-Bristol, professor of psychology and director of the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning at Missouri State University. 10:30-11:15 a.m. Stewart Center, Room 206.
