'5 Students Who ...' nominations wanted

Students who are the first in their family to go to college are special people. Any faculty or staff member just might know one of them and the story that brought that student to Purdue.
 
Someone inspired by their high school counselor's passion for learning? Someone driven to find new knowledge that will advance their family business? Someone who knows that a whole new world is out there, just waiting to be explored?
 
A student who chose a different road. A Path Maker.
 
The October 2011 "5 Students Who …" will feature their stories.
 
A nomination form for "Path Maker" candidates is at https://marketing.purdue.edu/5students. Providing detailed information on the student will increase the chance of selection. Finalists will be identified in mid-August, so nominations need to be made by Wednesday (Aug. 17).
