Upcoming class to explore benefits of Mediterranean diet

March 9, 2011

WorkLife Programs is offering a course on optimizing health through the Mediterranean diet on Thursday (March 10). The class will be facilitated by Linda Monahan, registered dietitian.

"Live Long and Prosper on the Mediterranean Diet" will be held from 4:10 to 4:50 p.m. in Stewart Center, Room 320.

The Mediterranean diet is an eating pattern that has yielded long, healthy lives for many people in countries such as Greece and Italy. Course participants will discover the advantages of applying this dietary pattern to their own life, and learn how to enjoy the many flavors and textures of these natural foods while optimizing their health at the same time.
