WorkLife Programs, PEFCU partner to provide services to employees

December 8, 2010

Through a partnership between Human Resources WorkLife Programs and Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union, all employees have access to free, confidential credit counseling services.

Employees who have questions about their finances or are struggling with a financial challenge can take advantage of these local resources. PEFCU credit counselors can help with balancing accounts, preparing a budget, reviewing your credit report, solving short-term challenges, and planning for future needs.

Informational packets with further details about the services available from PEFCU are available in Freehafer Hall; the WorkLife Programs office at Purdue West Shopping Plaza (PWF), 1402 W. State St.; and the WorkLife Programs’ Employee Assistance office, 501 Hayes St.

Counseling appointments are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and after-hours appointments are available by request. Counseling services are open to all Purdue employees, not just those who are PEFCU members.

Regional campus employees may contact WorkLife Programs at  765-494-5461 to request a packet. Telephonic financial counseling is available to those on regional campuses.
