Presentation to offer advice on infant sleep

November 12, 2010

WorkLife Programs is offering a presentation on making a safe sleep environment for infants.

Erin Syslo, infant toddler specialist at the Childcare Resource Network, will present "Rock-a-Bye Baby" from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 16) at WorkLife Programs, Purdue West Building F (PWF), 1402 W. State St.

Participants also will learn the benefits of having infants sleep safely on their backs and how to reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). This information is based on current research from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
