Fidelity continues to add time slots for one-on-one counseling appointments
Fidelity is adding more one-on-one counseling appointment times in an effort to meet the high demand for this service. Fidelity will bring additional counselors to the West Lafayette campus the week of Nov. 15-19. These counselors will be located at the State Street Office Facility (SSOF) at 1601 W. State St., across from Horticulture Park. Parking is available on site.
To schedule a one-on-one appointment, go to Fidelity's Purdue-dedicated website at www.plan.fidelity.com/purdue and click "Register online" in the "Get guidance" box on the right-hand side of the screen. If all appointment times are filled, employees may add their names to the waiting list. Fidelity will contact people on the waiting list to set up an appointment. Alternatively, employees may simply check the site again later, as Fidelity is continually adding time slots.
During an appointment, Fidelity will answer questions about the enrollment process and can provide guidance in reviewing total retirement planning strategies and making elections in the new investment options. To get the most from an appointment, faculty and staff are encouraged to bring statements for their non-Fidelity retirement savings accounts that they want to consider during the discussion. These can be for accounts through Purdue or accounts held outside of Purdue.
