Engineer of 2020 Workshop to be held Sept. 21

"Embedding Elements of Entrepreneurship into Engineering Courses" will be the focus of the 2010 Engineer of 2020 Workshop on Tuesday (Sept. 21).

The annual workshop addresses characteristics that are considered critical to the success of Purdue engineering graduates in the future.

The morning session will be from 8 to 11:45 a.m. in Room 218, Stewart Center, and will feature a panel discussion on entrepreneurship curriculum grant activities. Steven Nichols, professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, will give the keynote speech.

Also speaking will be Nathalie Duval-Couetil, director of the Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program at Purdue. A poster session and lunch will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Anniversary Drawing Room, Purdue Memorial Union.
