Rhea provides learning resources online

August 9, 2010

Rhea, a free online learning resource developed by Purdue students, is available to help members of the Purdue community teach each other the material they learn as well as the connections between the material, current research and outside applications. Rhea is at www.projectrhea.org.

The core feature of Rhea is a "wiki" used to create, share and discuss education-related material. Other features of the site include drop boxes for electronic homework collection and shortcuts for creating course pages.

Anyone with a Purdue career account can log into Rhea and contribute content. To connect this content with the "real world," the site invites research labs, companies and Purdue alumni to become "liaisons" and share their perspective with the students through Rhea.

More information about Rhea also can be found on Facebook at www.facebook.com/pages/West-Lafayette-IN/Rhea/88771959948.
