Changes made for ordering, receiving recognition gifts

August 5, 2010

Employees being honored for their years of service at Purdue now will have a new way to order and receive their recognition gifts.

The option to order a gift by phone has been added. Selection of a gift now can be made one of three ways:

* Log onto www.purdueuniversity.isrewards.com and refer to the invitation number listed on your order form.

* Fill out and return the order form in the enclosed prepaid return envelope.

* Call (800) 337-8914 and use the Purdue University company code: 7406.

Starting this year, gifts will be shipped to honorees' homes instead of being awarded at the event. Honorees will receive a framed certificate signed by President France A. Córdova at the ceremony.

Honorees should order their gift by Aug. 15 to ensure that the gift is sent before the event date. A default gift may be selected for those who do not submit an order by the deadline.

Personal invitations and more information concerning the recognition luncheons will be sent closer to the event date. Luncheons are scheduled for Oct. 19, administrative and professional staff members in the Office of the Executive Vice President for Business and Finance, Treasurer; Dec. 7, clerical and service staff; and Jan. 20, administrative and professional staff members in the Office of the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost. The luncheons honor those who reached a service anniversary within the 2010 calendar year.
