Policy update: New policies take effect July 15

Two policies, one interim and one revised, will take effect July 15. Policy information can be found at www.purdue.edu/policies.
* A new interim policy, Protection Against Reprisal for Good Faith Disclosures (Whistleblower Protection), Interim (X.1.2), formalizes under one statement the University's expectation that individuals who report misconduct in good faith or enforce University policy are protected from retaliation.
* Approval was granted July 8-9 by the Board of Trustees to revisions to the policy on Residence Classification of Students for Tuition Purposes (II.6.1). The policy's last revision was in May 1997.
