Walking program offers camaraderie, physical activity

Those looking for a convenient way to participate in physical activity on campus can participate in the summer walking program.

Facilitated by WorkLife Programs and Recreational Sports, this 12-week walking program features a 30-minute walk with a stretching session afterward in a group format designed to offer support and motivation. Leki walking poles are available in limited quantities; these provide a total body workout.

Sessions start Monday (May 24) and are available Monday through Wednesday during the noon hour or at 5:15 p.m. Participants register for just one time slot, but are welcome to attend any or all sessions during the week.
