Libraries announces annual award winners

Purdue Libraries has announced its 2010 staff award winners.
   
* Kayla Gregory, marketing associate in the Libraries Advancement Office, received the Joseph M. Dagnese Memorial Award for Excellence in Service to the Libraries.
   
* Michael Solomon, clerk in the Libraries IT department, received the Joseph M. Dagnese Memorial Award for Excellence in Service to the Libraries.
   
* Marianne Stowell Bracke, associate professor of library science in the Life Sciences Library, received the John H. Moriarty Award for Excellence in Library Service.
   
* Sharon Sturgeon, library assistant in the M.G. Mellon Library of Chemistry, received the Dean’s Award for Sustained and/or Outstanding Contributions to the Libraries.
   
* Bryan Shaffer, production and design manager for the Purdue University Press, received the Dean’s Award for Significant Advancement of a Libraries Strategic Initiative.
   
* Tomalee Doan, associate professor of library science and head of the HSSEB Division of Purdue Libraries, received the Dean’s Award for Significant Advancement of a Libraries Strategic Initiative.
