Feedback sought on information technology draft reports

March 11, 2010

The Campus Information Technology Plan Committee today will post to its Web site two draft reports addressing governance and cost savings.

These reports reflect the recommendations the committee will make in its final report to the vice president for information technology. The report is due March 30.

The draft documents outline the committee’s recommendations for designing a governance model for information technology at the West Lafayette campus and for generating $15 million in recurring IT savings over time.

Feedback on the draft executive summary is requested and can be provided via the Feedback link on the Web site.  Feedback can be submitted beginning today (March 11); respondents are encouraged to submit their comments early in the feedback process to allow the fullest consideration by the committee. Feedback via this process will be accepted through March 24.

All comments and recommendations will be reviewed and considered by the committee. Due to the expected input and timeline, the committee will be unable to respond to individual questions, comments or recommendations via this mechanism. Questions can be directed to CITPC members.
