Planning for retirement isn’t only about a date on the calendar. It’s about having the information and resources to make informed decisions along the way, whether retirement is decades away or just around the corner. This month, benefits-eligible employees have an opportunity to take an active role in their financial future during the virtual Road to Retirement conference, Sept. 23-25.

More than 1,000 Purdue employees participated in the spring 2026 Road to Retirement conference, taking advantage of expert guidance and resources designed to help them prepare for what comes next. The fall conference brings perspectives from Purdue Human Resources, Fidelity, Social Security Administration and more. Individuals are encouraged to attend all sessions that interest them.

Over three days, employees can explore topics relevant at different stages of their careers — from saving and investing to Social Security, healthcare and retirement income planning. The program brings together retirement and financial wellness experts to help employees better understand their options and identify steps that make sense for their individual circumstances.

Helping provide the resources to build greater confidence in the future is one more way Purdue supports employees throughout their careers and beyond.

All benefits-eligible Purdue, Purdue Global, Purdue for Life and Purdue Research Foundation employees and their retirement planning partners are invited to participate.
