Nominations open for Community Spirit Award

The Management and Professional Staff Advisory Committee and the Campus Support Staff Advisory Committee are accepting nominations for the 2026 Community Spirit Award through Aug. 31.

The annual award honors a staff member who actively volunteers their time to improve the local community, sets a high standard for service, encourages a sustained commitment to civic participation and inspires others to make service a central part of their lives.

Management, professional, administrative support, police, fire and skilled trades staff members are eligible to be nominated by any individual or organization.

The online nomination form, additional award guidelines and a list of past winners are available on the Community Spirit Award webpage.
