MaPSAC now accepting new member applications

The Management and Professional Staff Advisory Committee has opened new member applications as part of its annual spring membership drive.

MaPSAC serves as a two-way conduit between management and professional staff members and university administration and comprises up to 30 voting members who represent all segments of the Purdue community, including regional campuses. Committee membership is a professional development opportunity that offers employees the chance to build relationships with colleagues across campus.

MaPSAC members will serve three-year terms unless noted otherwise and are expected to attend monthly committee meetings. Members can also serve on MaPSAC’s subcommittees — Compensation and Benefits, Membership and Communication, and Professional Development — as well as various university committees.

Those who are interested in joining MaPSAC should complete the online application no later than May 15. Interviews will be conducted as soon as possible, and new members will be notified of their acceptance once a decision has been made.

To learn more about the committee, its members and its responsibilities, visit the MaPSAC website.
