Wellness program focuses on heart knowledge, high blood pressure; register by Sept. 8

The Center for Healthy Living (CHL) is offering a six-week Healthy Boiler Wellness Program called “Heart Knowledge” in support of the physical health pillar of the Healthy Boiler program. The program — designed for individuals with high blood pressure — meets from noon to 1 p.m. ET on Mondays from Sept. 15 through Oct. 20.

Lydia Hatfield and Jessica McKeever, registered dietitians at the West Lafayette CHL, will present the program, which includes weekly Teams meetings and one-on-one health coaching sessions. The coaching sessions will be scheduled with participants prior to the program’s start date, at the midpoint and at the conclusion of the program.

Those interested in participating should register by Sept. 8 via the Healthy Boiler Portal. The registration link can be found under the “Healthy Boiler Workshops” section on the portal’s homepage. Hover over the “Heart Knowledge” square and click on the information “i” to register.

Healthy Boiler workshops are free to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff and their dependents.
