Their efforts have contributed greatly to our success, and I genuinely appreciate the time and care they put into the students getting moved in. I would like to recognize Scott (Operations and Maintenance) for his outstanding dedication and creativity. Scott went above and beyond in developing an original plan for hanging Barry’s Bell in the Animal Sciences Student Services suite. His attention to detail and willingness to put in the extra effort ensured that the project was not only completed successfully but also with a unique and thoughtful solution. The final result is stunning! Scott’s hard work and commitment to excellence truly set him apart, and his contributions made a significant impact to our project. Those who helped resolve IT issue

I’d like to recognize Kevin Newell, Andrew Pigman, Trevor Baker, Sean Kelly, Doug Yeager, Ben Fowler and Shawn Kaluf (all Purdue IT) for their outstanding collaboration and problem-solving in addressing a complex issue impacting a remotely served application used by over 1,000 students. This team tackled a challenging problem involving VPN access, Office 365 configuration and remote application delivery. Through persistent troubleshooting and seamless coordination of Purdue IT units, they successfully identified and resolved the root cause of the issue. Their dedication ensured minimal disruption to students and demonstrated the power of teamwork, technical expertise and cross-functional communication. This effort not only restored critical functionality but also set a great example of how collaboration leads to impactful results. Linda Berglan

We would like to thank Nate Anderson, John Linder (both Distribution Systems) and their teams for the support of bringing the Agriculture Mall’s temporary chillers online. Jill Aichinger

Jill (Finance and Business Operations) always goes above and beyond whenever I (often several times a week) come to her for guidance on a complicated issue. This week, she was especially helpful in taking charge of correcting a payroll issue stemming from a system glitch for our 10-month employees. Jill took charge of coordinating with PAS and putting in place a plan to check each 10-month employee in all of our areas to ensure the issue was resolved quickly. Monte Brewer

Thank you to Monte Brewer and the Purdue Operations and Maintenance project team staff for a successful lab renovation in the Physics Building. Monte and team installed chilled water lines, an electrical transformer, custom electrical outlets, a new exhaust fan, HVAC ductwork, and a gas cylinder cabinet to specifications for Prof. Shivaram’s ultrafast quantum optics laboratory. Monte provided excellent communication throughout the project and superior skilled trade services. Thank you, Monte, for a job well done! — Andy Robison (Physics and Astronomy)
