Save the Date: Healthy Boiler Fair set for Sept. 10

Human Resources – Benefits invites all benefit-eligible faculty and staff to the third annual Healthy Boiler Fair, which offers a one-stop opportunity to explore the full range of benefits and wellness resources available to them. The fair is set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET Sept. 10 at the Purdue Memorial Union Ballrooms (North and South).

“Hosting the Healthy Boiler Fair for the Purdue community is an important and exciting responsibility,” said Candace Shaffer, associate vice president of benefits and payroll in Human Resources. “The fair provides us the opportunity to showcase and highlight the many benefits, resources and wellness programs that reflect the university’s priority on overall health and wellness. Just as our benefits do, all vendors and programs at the fair will align with one or more of the five pillars of the Healthy Boiler Wellness Program:

“Open enrollment for 2026 benefits will be here soon, which positions the Healthy Boiler Fair at a time we hope will be especially helpful and convenient for faculty and staff,” Shaffer added. “Our Healthy Boiler/Benefits tagline is ‘Your Benefits. Your Choices. Your Well-Being,’ and we believe strongly in that message. As in years past, we hope the fair will be well attended and help employees engage with their comprehensive benefits package.”

2026 open enrollment for benefits runs Oct. 28 through Nov. 11.
