Lindsey Kojich and Kathryn Stremiecki

Shoutout to Lindsey and Kathryn (both Experiential Education) for organizing the Experiential Education Community of Practice this school year. It’s been such an enjoyable experience to explore new topics, learn more about initiatives across campus and connect with others who share a passion for experiential learning. Thank you for creating this space! — John Race (Office of Summer and Winter Sessions)

Corey Spear and the Welding Shop crew

In Zone 1, we had a major equipment failure that would potentially cost several thousands of dollars to repair and extend the downtime of the equipment. But thanks to Corey’s (Operations and Maintenance) expert skills, he was able to help with modifications to allow a less expensive and timelier repair. This is not an isolated incident from him and the Welding Shop crew, and here in Zone 1, we appreciate the help, attention to detail and time you give us. — Zone 1

Richard Franks

Thanks to Richard (Purdue IT) for helping the hosting team boot into one of our hardened Linux repositories in order to fix a Grub bootloader issue. His assistance allowed us to bring the system back online in time to maintain our backup schedule without any disruptions. — Phillip Warren (Purdue IT)

Missy Gulick

Missy (Student Life) is such a talented colleague when it comes to planning Student Life events. She’s so creative and is always there to lend a hand. Missy doesn’t just plan events; she creates experiences that students and staff members remember for years. Missy’s talent and thoroughness make every moment memorable. Her work has brought so much joy and a sense of community to our campus, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she does. Missy, thank you for all you do! — Jackie Perkins (Student Life)

Kim Donoho

Kim (Testing Services) exceeded expectations to help with disability-related students needing special accommodations for exams. In my 23-plus years at Purdue, I have rarely experienced such a proactive, service-minded individual. She has made life so much more efficient to students and for instructors like me who teach large, 100-plus-student courses. — Rusi Taleyarkhan (Nuclear Engineering)

Bekuma Guttu

Bekuma (Purdue IT) went above and beyond when a colleague and I needed help submitting a proposal on a secure portal. He worked with us through several issues and eventually joined us in person in my office. Everything worked out thanks to his help, and we were able to submit the proposal on time. — Timothee Pourpoint (Aeronautics and Astronautics)

Erin Schultz

Words cannot fully express the gratitude and appreciation for Erin’s (College of Education) years of service to the College of Education advising team. Thank you for creating a culture of warmth and care for our students and supporting me in your role as senior advisor. Many thumbs up to you! — Jacquelyn Thomas-Miller (College of Education)

Taylor Stayback

Taylor (Institutional Data Analytics + Assessment) did a fantastic job compiling a large and complex set of data. She went back several times to refine the results until it was exactly what we needed. Thank you for helping us compile actionable data! — Cristina Farmus (Office of the Provost)

Those who helped with department head search

Krista Anderson

Big thanks to Krista (Administrative Services) for creating a super helpful spreadsheet that makes it so much easier and faster for me to search for pressure vessels. Your work has made a real difference in my day-to-day tasks and has definitely boosted my job performance. I really appreciate the effort and attention to detail you put into it! — Terri Griffin (Operations and Maintenance)

Thank you, Theresa, for all the amazing work that you do every day! — Asian American and Asian Resource and Cultural Center

David Huckleberry

When the Disability Resource Center was working to ensure a physics classroom was accessible, David (Physics and Astronomy) shared a resource that not only helped us with this classroom but will make questions about classroom accessibility easier for the DRC in the future. Thank you! — Jossette Bailey (Disability Resource Center)

Niedra Davey

Thank you to Niedra (Engineering Technology) for all of her hard work and dedication in making the SoET annual research day a successful and impactful event for the School of Engineering Technology! — Raji Sundararajan (Engineering Technology)

Mitch Smith and Kevin Post

Mitch and Kevin (both Operations and Maintenance) work with Facilities — HVAC and have done an outstanding job assisting the dairy unit in many projects in the past few months. Without Kevin and Mitch and their dedication to helping the dairy unit, we would not have completed numerous projects in a timely fashion and under budget. I am very appreciative of how hard they work and how well they work together! — Eric Bousman (Animal Science Farm)

Thank you to all of the Purdue students, staff and faculty involved with the Golden Taps remembrance on April 7. It was simple, elegant, respectful and deeply moving. Well done. — Bradley Dilger (English)
