Office of Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs to celebrate research at Spring Reception
The Office of Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs will host the 16th Spring Reception from 9:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m. May 7 in Purdue Memorial Union’s North and South ballrooms. All faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend the day’s activities.
The OIGP Spring Reception is a celebration of interdisciplinary graduate student research and scholarly excellence. The research presentations span a wide range of areas, representing both interdisciplinary programs and discipline-focused departments.
At the reception, about 90 student research posters and multimedia presentations will feature interdisciplinary graduate research projects. There will also be a poster session open to members of campus, a student keynote address, panel discussions focusing on career path experiences in academia and industry, and a closing keynote from Fushcia-Ann Hoover — an interdisciplinary graduate program alum — titled “Just Planning With Green Infrastructure: Myth, Mystery or the Future?”
A full agenda, speaker bios and more information can be found on the OIGP website.
Refreshments will be provided during the poster and panel sessions. Lunch is invite only.
