Lindsey Eggold

Thank you, Lindsey (College of Pharmacy), for your kindness and for always bringing joy to others! The students are really lucky to have you! — Katie May (Public Health)

Steckel Bleier

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Steckel (Purdue IT), the executive assistant for both the Rosen Center for Advanced Computing and the Envision Center. Since returning from the holiday break, I have been very far behind, and Steckel has been an incredible support. She helped me get supplies ordered for a workshop, arranged for the transfer of a Windows laptop for our demos and scheduled rooms for the remaining workshops of the spring semester. Additionally, she was instrumental in resolving a unique travel payment issue by connecting me with the right people and staying involved until it was fully resolved. These are just recent examples of her dedication. Steckel consistently goes above and beyond for our department without a single complaint. She is always friendly, helpful and empathetic. — Eric Adams (Purdue IT)

Eric Imboden

Huge thank you to Eric Imboden (Purdue Extension) for the incredible amount of work spent to get the Education Store’s website up and running. After months and months of collaboration, we finally completed the task, and Eric was a driving force in making it happen. Thanks so much, Eric, for all of your time and efforts in making it a success! — Erin Watson (Purdue Extension)

Alfred Nesvold

Fred (Ground Recharge Operations) is always very thorough when removing pests from inside the building, making sure unwanted pests are removed promptly, safely and efficiently. He also follows up to make sure the problem is solved. Fred always comes with a positive attitude and is able to elevate the attitudes of people around him. Thanks, Fred, for taking such good care of Stone Hall! — Josh Shepler (Nutrition Science)

Brady Smith and John Hall

Brady and John (both Purdue IT) did a fantastic job revamping our system for building computers! It’s much more efficient, faster and just great! We appreciate all the extra effort and time put into the new process. Keep up the great work! — Humanities Desktop Support Group

Jason Thorp

While walking through campus, a staff member inadvertently dropped a set of keys for a department vehicle. Using the number tag, Jason (Chemical Engineering) took the time to locate our department, contact us and returned the keys. This saved what could have been a huge headache for our department. Thanks, Jason! — Phyllis Young (Environmental Health and Safety)

Custodial staff at Niswonger Aviation Technology Building

I get here very early in the mornings and notice the custodial crew working very hard to take excellent care of walkways, hallways and lecture rooms. I want to thank them for their hard work and the special care they put in to making our building look beautiful every day. — Corben Meyer (School of Aviation and Transportation Technology)

Lynne Horngren

Thank you, Lynne (Undergraduate Education), for leading the strengths workshops in our Succeeding as a Woman Engineer course. Our students enjoyed learning from you and learning how they can start utilizing their strengths in their work! You gave them the tools to build on for the rest of the semester. — Miranda Baer (Mechanical Engineering)

John Cooper

John (Ground Recharge Operations) went above and beyond on a project. He worked late and outside of his comfort zone to get the job done. He was able to accomplish a task that he normally isn’t required to do. — Peter Vaughn (Ground Recharge Operations)

Dustin Richardson and Marry Anglin

We’re often in the office working on teaching preparation and student correspondence late in the evening each week. We often have an opportunity to see the hard work and positive attitude demonstrated by two top-notch Building Services overtime crew members, Dustin and Marry. They are always exceptionally thorough, courteous and thoughtful in their work. We’re grateful for the good work the two of them do to keep our teaching, office, lab and hallway spaces clean, neat and well maintained. Thank you for being exemplary workers in the finest Purdue tradition! — Lee Schweitzer and Shams Rahmani (both Agronomy)
