About the Purdue author
Chad Laux is an associate professor of computer and information technology at the Purdue Polytechnic Institute and co-lead of sustainable communities within the university’s Institute for a Sustainable Future. He is an internationally recognized expert and leader in business strategies focused on reducing waste, such as lean sustainability and Six Sigma systems for Operational Excellence. Laux’s book “Lean Sustainability” has won the International Lean Six Sigma Institute’s Book of the Year Award and the International Academy for Quality’s Walter E. Masing Book Prize. He has over 200 published works and advised over 100 graduate students.
