2025 Healthy Boiler Wellness Program reminders, new Success Plan feature
In 2025, the Healthy Boiler Wellness Program provides even more opportunities to earn Health Savings Account (HSA) or Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) incentive funds. 2025 Healthy Boiler incentives can be earned from Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2025.
This year, the available incentive has increased by $100 for both employees and spouses to help offset premium increases. The amount awarded is based on the coverage level elected within a Purdue medical plan:
- Employee Only (Incentive max $550)
- Employee + Spouse and Employee + Family levels — Both employee and spouse may earn independent of the other. (Incentive max $1,100 — if both complete all challenges)
- Employee + Children — Only the employee needs to complete the activities to earn amounts. (Incentive max $1,100)
- Employees who opt out may earn Employee Only amounts. (Incentive max $550)
A report in aggregate is provided to Human Resources indicating how much each person should receive based on completed items. Human Resources does not receive any personal health information related to incentive completion.
Success Plan
New in 2025, the Healthy Boiler Wellness Portal has implemented a Success Plan to visualize progress in the incentive program. Via the personalized plans, individuals can monitor their progress with intuitive checkboxes that show when they’ve completed a step to earn incentive funds.
At the top of the homepage of the portal, each individual will see a bar divided into five sections — Required, Additional Incentive, Preventive Care, Vaccinations and Depression Screening — all which can earn individuals incentive dollars.
The required step is an annual physical ($150 incentive), which must be completed (and the 2025 physical form uploaded into the portal) before payment for other objectives will be paid; however, individuals can complete the steps in whatever order they choose. The additional, optional incentive opportunities for 2025 are included in the remaining four bars of the Success Plan as follows:
- Additional Incentive (biometric values, dental or eye exam, health risk assessment) —
Individuals can earn additional funds with each objective for a total of $200 if all objectives are completed. ($100 biometric values, $50 dental or eye exam, $50 health risk assessment) - Preventive Care — $100 can be earned for completing one preventive screening. Preventive screenings are personalized based on age and gender. Completing more than one of the preventive screenings is recommended; however, payment is only available for one.
- Vaccinations (flu shot, HPV, PCV, shingles vaccine) — $50 incentive is available for one of the vaccinations, which can be done at any of the Center for Health Living locations, a local pharmacy or a primary care provider office.
- Depression Screening — Individuals can earn $50 for completing a depression/anxiety screening. Screenings can be done during an appointment with a primary care provider.

The View Success Plan page will reflect completed challenges within each level of the plan. Once a challenge is completed, a blue checkmark will appear to reflect completion. This offers individuals a quick look at where they are in earning and receiving their Healthy Boiler Wellness incentives.
