Michael Mundy, Jonathan Duncan and Tracy Smith

As the Purdue Department of Computer Science was preparing Indianapolis space for fall classes, there was a considerable amount of unnecessary furniture, equipment and supplies left from the transition that needed to be removed. The challenge was for WL Computer Science staff to arrange to move and transport a truckload from Indianapolis back to Purdue Surplus as expediently as possible. After a couple of phone calls, Michael (Operations and Maintenance) connected me with two Purdue colleagues who were able to help. Thumbs-up to Jonathan and Tracy (both Operations and Maintenance), who provided support outside of their normal roles. Thank you all very much! — Jamie Richards (Computer Science)

I would like to thank Monte Brewer, Brian Ullrich, Jan Aynes, Andy Crawford, Joe Lane, Jonathan Duncan, Corey Spear, Josh Beeler and Bill Woodward (all Operations and Maintenance) for supporting and providing safety training to our various student groups within Civil and Construction Engineering. Aimee and Jamie (both Pharmacy Administration) are the ultimate team players! When a situation arose that prevented me from performing my duties at a recent event, they jumped into action. They took it upon themselves to learn how to use new equipment on short notice and made sure everything was handled in my absence. They are phenomenal and deserve recognition for their efforts.
