Richard Huff

Richard Huff (Operations and Maintenance): I just wanted to take a moment to thank you, Richard Huff, for everything you have done for me. Your patience and creative explanations helped me understand difficult topics. Your confidence in me has inspired me to achieve something I didn’t know I could do. Your kindness and unwavering support have led me to the desire to continue my learning journey and hopefully complete even more electrical certifications. I can’t possibly thank you enough. I hope you feel as proud as I do. I’m sure I wasn’t the easiest student to teach. I am so happy and thankful. — Antonia Goad (Operations and Maintenance)

Mitch Smith

Mitch Smith (Operations and Maintenance): A huge thanks to Mitch Smith from Purdue Refrigeration for covering our building during a weekendlong electrical shutdown. He kept us informed as to the health of our units — many minus 80 freezers — and he helped find solutions to problems that arose. Without him we would have had more losses! — Karyn Rodkey (Biochemistry)

Rhonda Greear

Rhonda Greear (Benefits):  I recently had a life event change in my family. Rhonda just happened to be on call when I contacted HR Benefits for assistance. She listened to all my concerns, answered questions she had answers to and followed up on some tricky questions she needed team and supervisor support with. Through the entire process, Rhonda exhibited the support we all expect from HR and the quality benefits employees expect. I am grateful. — T.R. Oneal (Purdue Polytechnic Institute)

Chris Marheine

Chris Marheine (IT Enterprise Solutions): Chris is a co-worker with integrity. She recently coordinated an event to celebrate the accomplishments of others in her area. You are appreciated. — T.R. Oneal (Purdue Polytechnic Institute)

Agricultural and Biological Engineering support staff

Agricultural and Biological Engineering support staff: I love the culture in ABE! We host Versiti drives five times per year, and my co-workers are so quick to respond and help when we need to do a setup. The furniture in the Parker Grand Lobby is bulky and heavy, but many hands make light work! Thank y’all for always showing up! — Carol Weaver (Agricultural and Biological Engineering)

Alisha Mosteller, Megan Stratton and Breanna Maxwell

Alisha Mosteller, Megan Stratton and Breanna Maxwell (all Finance and Business Operations): On May 1 we switched to using a new system for invoices, Pcard receipts and more, and the whole Executive Office Business Operations Center team has been great and helpful. But these three ladies helped me with many questions to get a couple of difficult issues worked out. They were awesome to communicate with via email and Microsoft Teams and let me know what was needed and how to handle it. Thank you all very much. — Valerie Taylor (Finance)

Ashley Heriges

Ashley Heriges: Ashley helped me with my HSA. I was having a lot of trouble figuring out why I wasn’t getting my contributions. She stayed on top of the situation and kept me updated. We got it figured out, and now my HSA is good to go. Thank you, Ashley, for staying on top of this and helping me with a frustrating situation. You’re the best! — Melissa Ledman (Forestry and Natural Resources)
