Graduation, partnerships highlight Purdue Global chancellor’s report at June trustees’ meeting

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue Global Board of Trustees members on Friday (June 7) received progress updates on nationwide partnerships that benefit Purdue Global’s working adult learner population.

Purdue Global Chancellor Frank Dooley reported on various upcoming activities in Indianapolis and Minneapolis in connection to strategic partnership initiatives.

Dooley shared recent graduation statistics with the trustees. Purdue Global is on track to award 12,000 degrees and credentials to its students during the 2024 fiscal year.

Additional information about the graduates includes:

  • About 23% attended a graduation ceremony.
  • About 12% are Indiana residents.
  • About 12% are graduates who have stacked their degree on their immediately preceding Purdue Global degree.
  • About 2% of graduates utilize Purdue University’s education benefits.

Dooley shared with the group a recap video of the most recent Purdue Global commencement, which was held May 4 at Purdue’s Elliott Hall of Music. The next commencement will be Oct. 5 in West Lafayette.
