March ‘One Hour With HR’ sessions to focus on working with teams

The State and Grant Street Gateway at Purdue University.

“One Hour With HR” learning segments (in-person and virtual options) were introduced in late 2023 to provide opportunities for staff and supervisors to become better informed about relevant HR topics and to connect with others. In March, sessions will focus on working in team environments.

The sessions will cover the importance of a positive team structure while addressing the look and impact of dysfunctional teams. Clarifying roles and responsibilities, building trust, and prioritizing tasks will also be discussed.

The complete March schedule is below:

  • March 20, 11 a.m. to noon, Wilmeth Active Learning Center, Room 2007 — in-person employee session; register here.
  • March 22, 11 a.m. to noon via Teams — virtual employee session; register here.
  • March 27, 11 a.m. to noon, Wilmeth Active Learning Center, Room 2007 — in-person supervisor session; register here.
  • March 28, 10-11 a.m. via Teams — virtual supervisor session; register here.
