Delivering on its land-grant commitment to affordability, accessibility and value in preparing the next generation of leaders, Purdue saw enrollment of its incoming freshman class this fall increase 13% to a near-record 10,818 students in West Lafayette (10,173) and Indianapolis (645). At the same time, Purdue reports a record increase in four-year graduation rates, with four-year rates rising almost 5% to more than 73%; and six-year rates rising to nearly 84% (second highest ever).

A brand-new Purdue shopping experience is coming to Ross-Ade Stadium on Oct. 16. The Boilermaker Fashion Showcase will bring over a dozen licensed fashion brands together in the south end zone patio, giving Boilermakers an opportunity to explore a curated selection of new Purdue styles before and during the football game against Washington.
Three-time Pulitzer Prize winner, bestselling author and historian Rick Atkinson, known for his gripping narratives of military conflict from the American Revolution and World War II to the U.S. invasion of Iraq, will join Purdue President Mitch Daniels at 6 p.m. Sept. 16 in Loeb Playhouse for a Presidential Lecture Series event. The event, titled “America @ 250: Celebrating Freedom’s Giant Leap,” is free and open to the public, but a ticket is required.
