“Design and Operation of Smart Reconfigurable Manufacturing Systems in Industry 4.0/5.0” investigates how smart manufacturing techniques can facilitate the design of adaptable systems to meet the demands of unpredictable markets. Co-edited by Xingyu Li, an assistant professor in Purdue Polytechnic Institute’s School of Engineering Technology, the text provides researchers and practitioners with novel methodologies for implementing human-centric, resilient and sustainable manufacturing systems.
