Treatment and management of eating disorders require a variety of disciplines throughout the Purdue College of Health and Human Sciences, from psychological sciences to nursing to dietetics. Researchers say the interdisciplinary approach is essential to understand the complex things happening with hormones, body weight and behavior to better inform treatment strategies for eating disorders.
