The Department of Defense and Air Force Office of Scientific Research have awarded a $7.5 million MURI grant to Krishna Jayant and a multidisciplinary team of researchers across six universities to explore how neuronal computations flex under shifting metabolic conditions. Jayant, the Leslie A. Geddes Assistant Professor in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering, is the principal investigator and Kimberly Kinzig, professor and head of the Department of Psychological Sciences, is one of six co-PIs.
