NASA Dragonfly
Helping Dragonfly survive NASA’s mission to Titan
NASA is planning to send a first-of-its-kind rotorcraft lander called Dragonfly to explore the unique surface of Titan, Saturn’s largest moon. But before it begins flying, Dragonfly’s entry capsule has to make it through Titan’s dense atmosphere. That’s where Purdue University researchers come in.

January edition: Newly issued patents
Purdue researchers across all campuses and academic disciplines have recently received 15 patents on their intellectual property from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Most of these innovations are available to license and bring to market.

Purdue’s Gallardo named to Federal Reserve Board’s Community Advisory Council
Roberto Gallardo, vice president for engagement, director of the Purdue Center for Regional Development and an associate professor of agricultural economics, was named as one of five new members of the Federal Reserve Board’s Community Advisory Council. CAC members provide information, advice and recommendations to the board on relevant policy matters and emerging issues of interest.
