Purdue has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Dassault Systèmes to establish a new lab to develop virtual twin technologies for semiconductor processing and testing at Purdue’s Birck Nanotechnology Center. The MOU marks a significant step toward developing the first virtual twin-enabled semiconductor research and education platform.
Ten Purdue researchers were named in Clarivate’s 2025 list of Highly Cited Researchers, demonstrating research excellence and influence in their fields. The selected researchers have authored multiple papers that rank among the top 1% in citations in their respective fields, as recorded in the Web of Science from 2014-24.
Katlyn Peek has traveled across the U.S. recruiting families to participate in clinical studies for her role as a peer coach at Purdue, but her best trip had to be her latest one — coming to West Lafayette to receive her Purdue Global degree. Peek was one of 58 Purdue University system employees who received their degree through the Gift of Knowledge benefit during Purdue Global’s October commencement.
