Two years after her internship and Purdue graduation, Nicki Cochran’s name still echoes joy in the halls of Lafayette’s National Alliance of Mental Illness office. After graduating with a Master of Public Health in 2021, she penned NAMI’s proposal for a $1.28 million grant from the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction. A year later, the funded proposal has allowed the expansion of NAMI’s office.
