They’re robots, and they’re here to help: Computer scientist improves robot interactions with human beings
Sooyeon Jeong, robot expert and computer scientist, makes robots and AI agents more social, better listeners and more human-friendly. Her team’s projects include efforts to create robot study companions and to increase robots’ and AI agents’ ability to actively listen to humans when required to help with tasks.
