Research trips to Iceland and Hawaii are providing Purdue planetary scientist Ali Bramson with a better understanding of what resources lie beneath the surfaces of Mars and the moon, clearing the way for future missions to both locations.
“Teaming With Insects: Entomology for Grades 3-12” by Natalie Carroll, professor of agricultural and biological engineering; Christian Oseto, Emeritus 150th Anniversary Professor of Entomology; and Timothy Gibb, emeritus professor of entomology, introduces young scientists to the diversity of the insect world, exploring anatomy, physiology and the vital roles insects play in our ecosystem.
Sharon Miller, clinical professor in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering and assistant vice provost in Indianapolis, channels her passion for helping students into an approach that turns learning into an immersive journey. Informed by her research, Miller designs clinical immersion, job-shadowing, internships and capstone projects that give students spaces where they can test ideas and gain real-world experience in Indianapolis.
During the first week of fall camp, fans can get their first look at the 2026 Purdue football team on Saturday (Aug. 8) at Ross-Ade Stadium. Purdue Football Fan Day features a practice open to fans beginning at 8:15 a.m. followed by the Boilermakers signing autographs inside the Mollenkopf Athletic Center. Admission for Fan Day is free.
