Ticket policies in place for John Mayer's Purdue concert

March 1, 2012

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Seven-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician John Mayer launches his first U.S. tour in two years on April 9, stopping in 18 cities through May 6, including a stop at Purdue University's Elliott Hall of Music at 8 p.m. Friday, April 13. The tour leads into Mayer's upcoming fifth album, "Born and Raised."

This performance is presented by the Purdue Student Concert Committee and JAM Productions.

Ticket policies

Elliott Hall of Music's best seats will be available at "Will Call" only on the night of the show. All those picking up tickets from Will Call must immediately enter the venue with their full party and will not be permitted to leave Elliott Hall of Music after entering the building. Tickets at Will Call are non-transferable (name changes not permitted), and you must show your ID and credit card used for the ticket purchase to receive your tickets. Those who purchase Will Call tickets will be emailed instructions prior to show date. Please provide a valid email at point-of-purchase.

With these new policies in effect, we encourage you to be wary of any other sources claiming to resell tickets to any shows on this tour.

"Please understand that your ongoing support of John Mayer is never taken for granted," said Abby Eddy, Purdue Convocations marketing director. "These new policies are meant to better serve, protect and accommodate you. Please send feedback, and, most importantly, enjoy the show."
