INDIANAPOLIS — Purdue University has received a $42 million commitment from longtime benefactor and alumnus Roland G. Parrish to name the new flagship facility within the Mitch Daniels School of Business. The building, which is set to open in fall 2027 on the West Lafayette campus, will be called the Roland G. Parrish Hall of Business. This gift represents the largest contribution from an individual for a facility in university history.

The announcement came Friday (Oct. 9) during the Purdue Board of Trustees public meeting at the Sigma Theta Tau building, the university’s Indianapolis administration headquarters.

Also at the meeting, trustees approved housing and dining rates for the 2027-28 academic year, a 10-year contract with Chartwells to operate dining services at the Academic Success Building in Indianapolis starting in the 2027-28 academic year, and leasing of the 3rd & West apartment complex in West Lafayette for the 2027-28 through 2029-30 academic years.
