WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. —

The closure of Grant Street between Northwestern Avenue and North Street has been postponed until Friday (April 15) through April 21. The closure, for work on a water line to Theta Nu Kappa Delta sorority, was originally scheduled to begin Tuesday (April 12).

This will affect deliveries, vehicular and pedestrian traffic on the east side of Purdue University’s campus.

Motorists coming from the south and east can take North Street to Vine Street, to West Fowler Avenue onto Northwestern Avenue to head west. Those coming from the west can take Northwestern to North Street onto South Grant at the south end of the construction.

A moving lane closure on Vine Street through April 25 will follow the Grant Street work.

Note to journalists:

Visitors to campus should follow standards set in Protect Purdue guidelines.
