The Native American Educational and Cultural Center (NAECC) proudly represent over 70 tribal nations through our Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander students, alumni, faculty, and staff. We are committed to nurturing student learning and academic success, providing a safe, inclusive space for students, and offering educational opportunities for the campus community to learn about Indigenous cultures.
The NAECC acknowledges the traditional homelands of the Indigenous People which Purdue University is built upon. We honor and appreciate the Bodéwadmik (Potawatomi), Lenape (Delaware), Myaamia (Miami), and Shawnee People who are the original Indigenous caretakers.
“…I would not have survived graduate school and being in a new environment, if it weren’t for the support and guidance from the NAECC and it’s community.”
