MEP Summer Employment
The Minority Engineering Program provides employment opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students who would like to engage with 6th - 12th grade students from across the country in our summer engineering programs. It is a great opportunity to gain teaching experience and enhance your communication and leadership skills while providing students with hands-on engineering experience. Students will learn the tools they need to be successful not only in the classroom but also in the ever-changing engineering landscape.
The program offerings are as follows:
- Summer Engineering Workshops: targets rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders.
- PREFACE: targets rising 10th and 11th graders.
- MITE: targets rising high school seniors.
- Engineering Academic Boot Camp: designed for incoming Purdue first-year students.
