Gozdem Kilaz is an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering Technology, at Purdue University, with a joint appointment in the Laboratory of Renewable Resources Engineeringy. Dr. Kilaz earned Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering. Currently, Dr. Kilaz serves as the Chief Scientist of the Air Transport Institute for Environmental Sustainability (AirTIES) Center, in the Aviation Department of Purdue University. Dr. Kilaz is one of the faculty fellows for the Purdue Polytechnic Institute Initiative, within the College of Technology for Transformative Educational Innovation at Purdue University. Her research interests, in the area of alternative liquid transportation fuels, include development, testing, and approval of biofuels. Dr. Kilaz laboratories enable chemical identification and properties testing of aviation fuels.
