Terms and Conditions of Use
The ITaP Teaching & Learning blog, Reflections on Teaching, exists to support the educational mission of the Purdue University community. It is meant to foster discussion and exploration of technology use in support of teaching and learning. Participation in this blog is made available to any current faculty, student, or staff member of Purdue and is subject to the terms and conditions of use (“Terms”) contained herein. By accessing or contributing to this or any blogs at www.purdue.edu/learning/blog , and in consideration for the Services we provide to you, you agree to abide by these Terms.
Use of the blog is subject to all applicable Purdue University policies and local, state, and federal law. Applicable Purdue policies include but are not limited to:

Public Nature of Submitted Content
The goal of blogging is to reach a public audience. If you don’t want others to see such information, don’t submit it.
Default Creative Commons Public License

Under this license, you permit anyone to copy, distribute, display and perform your Content, royalty-free, on the condition that they credit your authorship each time they do so. Amongst other things, this license permits RSS aggregators to copy, distribute, display and perform any Content you post on the blog. All Content on the blog is syndicated for RSS aggregation.
Terms of Conduct for Blog Participants
1. You warrant that you will not breach any third party’s intellectual property rights. If you do post third party material then you must provide appropriate attribution.
2. You must not impersonate any other person or represent that any content posted by you is endorsed by Purdue.
3. You must not post any material that:
- Is illegal, objectionable, defamatory, offensive or threatening.
- Promotes hate or discriminates against anyone on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin or ancestry, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, disability, or status as a veteran.
- Invades the privacy of any person.
4. Purdue reserves the right to remove any content, or to refuse to accept, distribute or display content, at its absolute discretion.
5. Purdue reserves the right to suspend participation in the blog of any users who violate these terms.
